About me

My name is Claire MacClure 

 

I have practiced art ever since I was a small child. I have always been inspired by nature and the beauty of my surroundings. I developed my own style of documenting the things I see around me, I enjoy incorporating portraits and nature to make surreal fantasy and fashion portraits. I also like geometric patterns and drawing animals and plant life.  

 

 I paint using primarily acrylic or water colour. I also use coloured pencils and markers. However my preferred style would be dot work with ink pens.

 

I have studied at Whitecliffe college of Art & design in Auckland, completing a certificate in art and design. 

 

I occasionally do commisions of portraits and character design, I enjoy working with others to create  their visions.

 

As well as painting and drawing I have a keen interest in tattooing and scarification, I Intend to someday join the tattooing industry and learn the art of tattooing.
